I hesitate to call it horrid. I'm just not a fan of self-loathing. I guess there is an audience for it, but it's not me. I hope you can get past your troubles, if indeed this is you. I suspect it is. Good luck.

Here is a beautiful poem

WINTER, BY RONNIE MUND

Winter is when there are no leaves on the trees.
Winter is when we say goodbye to the birds and the bees.
Winter is when we get an extra hour of z's.
Winter is when a red-suited man brings us all lots of glee.
Winter is when the snow falls and we yell "Happy New Year!"
Winter is when you turn that special girl or guy's heart bright red with love and cheer until that time again next year.
Winter goes away, and the birds and the bees and the leaves on the trees and the extra hour of z's all go back to where they should be.
Winter.
Spring.

Thanks man. Its been a few rough weeks. I find it easier to put my frustrations on a paper rather than talking my issues over w/ people. I'm definitely not a fan of the "woe is me" mantra myself.

Don't beat yourself up over your percieved "worthiness" dude.

As a parent, I love my kids and love them no matter what they do or say. I am sure your Mom was the same.

Sorry for your loss, but focus on the smiles she put on your face and the hurt she took away from you when needed.

Thx Tanyaskees. Been a rough few weeks. Life is getting back to normal between work and class. Had a great night out w/ some buds tonight and tossed back a dozen.

Thx bro. I beat myself up over the fact that I was a dumb ass in judging her for various reasons and never really made amends for my actions. I did my best to be there for her during the final 6 or 7 months. Thanks again for the kind words.
