This is great news from Ono. Mitch Daniels did the same thing at Purdue when he took over two months ago: announced a 2-year tuition freeze. I hope that Mitch and Santa are starting a trend.

Gee is actually a lot like Ono in terms of campus involvement, if you run into him on campus he'll chat it up with you. The students love him.

Ono has nothing but good things to see about Gee as well. In certain respects I think he models himself after Gee.

Let's just pray he has been spending countless hours with the ACC and Big 12 working every angle he has. Sports are not his only major concern, but it is the highest profile area. If we are not included with the Bigs the University may never fully recover or at least advance in the way it could in all areas with the benefits of being associated with the other major players
