...and by "official confirmation" I obviously don't mean a report by ESPN's own Brett McMurphy or even an ACC issued press release.

Nope, I will await word from The Dude of West Virginia or his other psuenonym where he pretends to be a Texas insider -Toad the Wet Sprocket or some schitt like that.

Combined - and you have to combine them because they are the same person (check their IP address) - they have moles inside every major athletic office and conference office in America. There's no way they would let something this big slip through their net. Especially not after the Maryland and Rutgers fluke.

This news has to be a mistake, it just has to be.

Wonder if they finally go away? We can only hope.

Dude, atomicnoodle, MFer3, yoda, et al... were all misinformation goofballs. eerlaw11 or whatever he is called was somewhat reasonable.

Tuxedo Yoda! That was the Dude's other moniker. I couldn't remember it for the life of me! Thanks.

Well, of course he won't go away. After that goof goes through the five stages of grief - and trust me, he will - he'll be back with more nonsense and of course some people will be gullible enough to believe him. That's just how the phophecy biz seems to work.

In all seriousness, this is HORRENDOUS news for the Dude's beloved West Virginia Mountaineers. Now, Morgantown Island has become permanent. If I were them I'd be pushing like hell for Cincinnati to be included. Otherwise they are HOSED!

I've been skeptical as hell of the GOR the whole time, but the sweet irony is that all the Big 12 folks are repeatedly on the hook for 100% belief in its infallibility. If it's infallible for the Big 12, then it's infallible for the ACC. So reading all the mental gymnastics they will have to use to get around that logical inconsistency will be very entertaining.

Yup. I mean he is still fighting the good fight to try and make it look like he knew what he was talking about, but yeah he really said it. I see it now on his feed.
