I am looking forward to an annual game between USM and La. Tech, but also excited for what appears to be a great rivalry between USM and MTSU.

I was wondering what games others are looking to be great rivalries among the C-USA teams the expansion has created.

Tech vs North Texas can be interesting if they can ever crack the Top 100.

marshall vs MTSU and WKU and eventually Charlotte and ODU and hate to say this but I hope So Miss ends up in the west so Marshal and So miss can meet in conf champ game

Charlotte and ODU (play in 2013 & 2014) since we will be probably each other's longest running opponent after a few years. Also, Marshall for the battle of the green and they have good number of alumni in this area.

UTSA vs Everyone.

Technically, isn't Tech considered a rival since we've been together since the WAC

I think you are talking about football here, but we will not be playing big boy football for two more years. So...in hoops I think Charlotte vs UAB will crank up again. Back in C-USA 1.0 we had some pretty heated games but we were both better back then.

Tech vs USM is a given, and I think Tech vs Rice will be close. I really hope Tech vs UNT takes off. The one I think has major potential is Tech vs UTSA.

I'm lookling forward to the renewed rivalry between Rice and Louisiana Tech. It was just heating up when we were in the WAC together. I also look forward to the new rivalries with UTSA and North Texas. Both schools have excited fans who like to travel. San Antonio is a perfect road trip from Galveston. I can't wait. ULL would be a really great rivalry for Rice as well. I can never go to Louisiana too often.

ODU and Charlotte will be great.

There is good basketball history between the schools going back to the 82' season in the Sunbelt, and that's going to carry over into the football games; This is a made in rivalry game and will make a great addition to the CUSA eastern division.

ODU currently favors the basketball series by 2 games. (14-12) Though I can easily see Charlotte taking control of that figure in the next few seasons.

As to football nothing much yet for us though maybe some good crowds coming/going on I65 so something may develop. As to basketball, we get WKU, ODU & Charlotte from the old days of original SunBelt.

Well since ya'll beat us a couple of years ago to get your only 1A win of the season when we had a chance at a fair record that year so yea we'll take it. Only thing is that you helped us get a new coach that we didn't want in the first place with that win

Ah yes, the one home game I didn't go to over my 3 years of being a student here. It was the day after Thanksgiving when I almost crashed my car on I-275 in Tampa after hearing that we won.
I've always respected UAB. My mother got her BA from there and I sympathize with your OCS situation. #FreeUAB
I wouldn't mind a little rivalry with y'all, thought I don't think it'll be quite as juicy as an MTSU-UAB rivalry.

Really hope you and FIU can get to the UCF point with your athletics but not the arrogance part

I already like the UTEP vs Rice games and it could develop to rivalry status. UTEP vs UNT and UTSA are naturals that can develop. UTEP vs La Tech could be good since it got really ugly between the fan bases when we joined CUSA. UTEP vs UAB in MBB.
