Quote:NEW YORK -- Louisville is a winner again, only this time the outcome isn't close.

The Nielsen company said Louisville's gripping victory over Michigan in the NCAA men's basketball championship last week was seen by 23.4 million people. It was easily the most-watched program on prime-time television last week, beating its closest competition by more than six million viewers.

The game drew more viewers than the NCAA championships during each of the past two years, which both had around 20 million viewers.

To be fair, SOME people tuned in to watch Michigan... but I agree, U of L is a hot sports property right now (and hopefully for the foreseeable future)

I believe it's more important, that it shows that college basketball draws viewers. That basketball schools should get paid like football schools.
