New football stadium idea, park decommissioned aircraft carrier out by whithurst. consessions inside the ship, field on the flight line. build massive seating around it.

Also, I have to to wonder whether ECU has ever had multiple flyovers from helicopters, to (was it a c5a?) to the paratroopers landing at midfield with the game day ball.

I'd put our pregame festivities, and our amazing howitzer (it's an absolute fact no one in college football has a louder gun, I'm even surprised they still are allowed to use it, that thing can actually cause hearing damage) up against any school not from the sec or the big 12 in the country.

UVA is about as boring as it gets although I will admit, va tech doing enter sandman on a Saturday night in Blacksburg with the entire stadium going Apesh.t is also fairly impressive.


Too bad that is usually followed up by their team crapping the bed on national tv in front of the entire country.

Even jmu beat them. I can't wait until we get our shot, just as I can't wait for Taylor Heinecke to shred ecu's very mediocre cusa defense to shreds.

If they think they are holding us under 28, they need a wake up call.

He's got a point. Our offense will have to overachieve to keep us in the game and maybe even slip through for the shootout win that we've grown so accustomed to watching. Defense will be better than last year, though still outclassed in this game. If the O-line can protect Heinicke and he can connect scoring drives at a consistent clip, it'll be an interesting game.

I predict a entertaining game and lots of touchdowns. If we lose by 2 or less I call it that a successful first fbs game.

If we lose by a touchdown, I'd call that wildly successful.

If we win, I will call that spectacularly successful, and it certainly will be a great drive home Sunday morning!

Guys I've got us covered, i told my girlfriend she cant come/watch. Only games we lost last year were ones she attended lol.

Agree...that's a deal breaker......

Just heard Wood on the radio say the following:

4,000 ODU tickets will be available.

ODU will be busing students and bringing the marching band.

Not to get political, but with all of the conservatives from Tidewater and Eastern NC at that stadium at one time, the ECU cannon my be replaced with drones......

We have had all of those pregrame festivities...North Carolina has its fair share of Military bases.

Wow, after busing students and bringing the band there will not be many tickets left over for your actual paying fans. Who is going to pay for the tickets that the band and students will be using?

My guess is the students won't grab as many tickets as many would assume based on past history. They are generally the last to join the party.
