They'll gross that much, not MAKE. Big difference. Minus taxes and insurance and whatever. But who the hell cares about accuracy, right CD/CD1?

Does your son's cell phone payment get deducted BEFORE or AFTER taxes, CD/CD1?

Really, that's gross pay. You sure are an expert on money, thanks for letting me know. I always thought income was what our employer paid us, not what it was after the government confiscated their "fair share." Thanks Jim Cramer. Any other hot tips you can send our way?

Dip, are you serious??!! There are students here, and retirees like me. I've made only 12% of that $1,000,000 over the last 10 years.

Get real Dip. The medium family income for Kalamazoo County is less than $44,000.

I said "most here." Median family income in Kalamazoo County fall in the middle of Rhonda Styker and the poverty stricken living on the Northside, Eastside, and Southside.

"Most here" are WMU grads, i.e. college educated, "most here" have been employed for ten plus years, "most here" have two incomes in their home, most here fall into the category of professionals.

Big difference in "most here" and the median income of the county.

we need a disclaimer: any non-sports thread over 10 pages likely has descended into a CD/DB e-peen contest

RE: Explosion at Boston Marathon
Sorry to dig this thread up from so long ago, but I thought this was really interesting - and something I honestly hadn't heard about until listening to TAL today.

Quote:519: Dead Men Tell No Tales
MAR 7, 2014

Last May, a weird story made the news: the FBI killed a guy in Florida who was loosely linked to the Boston Marathon bombings. He was shot seven times in his living room by a federal agent. What really happened? Why was the FBI even in that room with him? A reporter spent six months looking into it, and she found that the FBI was doing a bunch of things that never made the news.

^ Really interesting story, thanks. I kinda agree with the reporter's theory at the end.

RE: Explosion at Boston Marathon
^^Thanks for posting the story on the FBI shooting in Orlando. The reporter's theory makes some sense, but the FBI's handling of the cover-up doesn't. Something in the wood pile here, in my opinion. The FBI has investigated roughly 150 FBI shooting incidents resulting in deaths, and are so far 150 for 150 in their internal investigations, declaring all justified. That's a remarkable string of good fortune for the FBI.
