Loyola beat DePaul and NIU took DePaul down to the wire at ALLSTATE.

NIU beats Kentucky with the transitive property.

Loyola beat DePaul this year, so whatever talent gap their is must not be much. Plus getting into the MVC puts Loyola in a better position to recruit better talent
