RE: What new programs from FCS will have a better starting season?
Arizona is still building their team, slow-runner, and it takes a while for Jeff Casteel's 3-3-5 defense to be truly effective. It's not an instinctive method of play, since the rules for the defense requires each man to play his assignment, instead of attacking the ball. The defensive players have to reign in their instincts, which takes a lot of discipline. Most players take 2 or 3 years to get the 3-3-5 down pat. IMO how well 'zona will play is entirely dependent upon how well the defense plays...

I do like that new offense and new HC Arizona has. Well, they are both a season old now. But working great.

RichRod was always good at building an offense. Defense was his big weakness, which Jeff Casteel mitigated at WVU, once his players learned the 3-3-5 defense. Not having Casteel is why RichRod is at Arizona now. Had Casteel followed him to Michigan, he'd still be in Ann Arbor, and Michigan fans would love him...

Both 2 Last Years - App State beat GaSo who beat ODU - Last Two Years - So how could ODU have anything but the WORST talent!

We kicked their tail back to back seasons in the playoffs.

App will be fine but they will be the 7th FBS school in NC. The state of GA has much more talent than NC and only 4 FBS schools. I would say advantage Ga Southern.

Ga Southern has had the highest ranked team in the Sagarin ratings the past two years.
Remember: Last 2 Years - App State beat GaSo who beat ODU - Last Two Years
App State recruits in Ga better than Ga Southern

He never even sent us a thank you note.
