Georgia State and South Alabama will pull up in football competition by 2015 and the conference will be stronger than it ever has, but everyone needs to stay put.

Don't count on it, if UL and stAte leave the sbc will be on its knees waiting for the kill shot. Enjoy these next couple of seasons, because after the dust settles on realignment things might not be so bright for some of our beloved teams.

Not likely. It will mean another rebuilding era instead of a momentary blip. Nobody wants to go through that including stAte and UL...but I don't see any way the SBC can be killed.

The Sunbelt will function as it was always intended to be. A place for the 1-AA move ups to grow and then move on. It's time for ASU and UL to graduate and move on.

Yes, but who will take you? If it was programs that they wanted, they would have picked you and stAte over Florida whatevers and WKU. Because they didn't, I don't think it is a forgone conclusion that you are picked next... if 16 even happens. I honestly see other schools that fit the CUSA mold better... and one of them could be stAte I admit. I think there is a point where the SunBelt will stabilize and strengthen, and I think we are almost there. There is only so much room at the top, and unless the big boys go to 16, I just don't think anything happens down below.

Guarantee it's not just my opinion. It has the feel of desperation.

Yep, kind of like your President leading the coalition to block NMSU as a full member in Hot Springs knowing that he going to accept a CUSA invitation. Now thats a snake only WKU fans can love!

I see ULL is taking the muts approach of going to the press to state their case.

Nope, your president was more of a snake leading a coalition to block NSMU as a full member in Hot Springs when he knew damn well that WKU was leaving the Sun Belt. The only reason to do such a thing was to purposely hurt the conference. What he did was far worse then anything Scott Farmer said today.

And for the record, Your AD came out publicly and stated WKU was interested in CUSA after Middle Tenneessee announced they were leaving the conferce.

Did you just insult President Gary Ransdell?

Sure did, since it was his actions.

Nobody knows what will happen. stAte could even still end up in the MAC. The Sun Belt will just have to muddle through until its final lineup is finally set.

Everyone wants to either get moved somewhere or have things set so the conference rebuilding can begin and unity restored. Just have to be patient and wait.

Yep, and yet you don't have a clue what Ransdall did, or didn't do because you get 99% of your information from message boards instead of actually talking to someone in your own athletic department.

I could care less what your "source" from inside your athletic department said. ULL people (here lately) have been very "woe is me". I wouldn't be surprised if you guys did a stomp, pouty face and said "It's all WKU's fault".

And if it were true, at that point, WKU was far from a lock in C-USA. And if I'm not mistaken, very few people wanted NMSU in the conference at that time. Whine more, bro. Make sure you take your meds before bed.

Yep, it’s much better to comment on something you are clueless about even if it’s your own president. I take my meds every night, but unfortunately there is no prescription that helps someone like you from being a moron.

I said it before, we are not in this together when you have WKU's president leading a coalition to block NSMU as a full member knowing full well they have accepted the invitation to CUSA and Troy's chancellor pushing the conference further east so that he can have his rival games from the past with Georgia Southern and Appalachian State. Sounds like everyone has their own agenda and gets upset when someone else explores other opportunities.

Western did not vote on anything in Hot Springs and find me the quote or article where the WKU AD came out pimping WKU to CUSA. I must have missed that one but I will only believe when I see it...not taking your word for it.

Yes it does, but had the 5 departing programs stayed and Waters added Texas State, UTSA, App State and Ga Southern CUSA would crumble.

You could make the same point with the MWC/WAC situation; however, we all know that water doesn't flow uphill.

BUT... BUT... HIS GUY INSIDE THE ULL ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT SAID SO! IT MUST BE TRUE!!!11!!11!!!1!

Butthurt because you Ransdall is a snake oil salesman!

How can you claim I'm the butthurt one when you've been throwing hissy fits on multiple threads?

Butthurt seems appropriate since I was addressing your whining about UL in multiple threads. I could have used “TOOL” because Zee already used it for you, but I’m okay with that one as well.

You're free to quote me on my "whining".

As for your temper tantrums, they're very evident.

See the word hypocrite, because it applies to you in making the ignorant statements you have made after Ransdall’s actions.
