Still hoping he stays. We all need to make up signs and go over to his house.

Before anyone has a fit....I am joking.

Wherever it is, apparently it's important for the world to find out via presser...

RE: Guesses on where Tarik will transfer
If he doesn't want to be here, doesn't really matter to me where he goes. I know many want everyone to take the high road and well wish him but I am really ready for the last Tarik Black press conference. Good luck to him, hope he and his family find happiness but I am ready to know who is coming here next year and let's start getting back in that national discussion. After watching last night it made me realize we are getting farther and farther away from the 2008 game, time to move back up with the players that want to be here!!!

RE: Guesses on where Tarik will transfer
There are just a couple of requirements...

Somewhere that doesn't have that silly 5 foul rule.
Somewhere that has a designated free throw shooter.

I kid, of course, but I don't think he's going to find what he's looking for. Plenty of schools would want him but not many schools would want to run their entire offense through him which is what he wants.

His former Ridgeway PG and compadre Kris Brewer is the leader at Kent State. He would walk in and look like the beast he was half of his freshman year. Giddy up.

RE: Guesses on where Tarik will transfer
If I understood what restrictions that JP can put on where he can go then I would make an intelligent guess but JP saying he could not go to someone on the schedule next season surprised me. If TB graduates (the only way he can transfer without sitting out), I would have thought he could go anywhere he wants that has a graduate major that Memphis doesn't offer. My guess then would have been either OM or UT since TB seems to want to hide behind his family to reinforce his positions. So if JP can really restrict where TB can transfer, it won't be UT, OM, UK AR, or anyone on our schedule.

If JP can't restrict then it could be any of those or a contender in the ACC, B12 or B1G. Otherwise TB may be thinking his BB days are over when he leave college so he might try Harvard if he is thinking about life after BB.

Harvard doesn't offer athletic scholarships so not only would he have to get admitted (doubt his grades are that good) he would have to pay for it.

The program can restrict where he goes. See the St.Johns/UAB fiasco of 3 years ago for a primer.

At a school like Kent State, he might look like a stud. But my hunch is that he'll want to go to Arkansas, Ole Miss or Mississippi State. Hey, maybe even Southern Miss. Wish him well. But, I'd say this: If you don't want to be here, don't let the door hit you in the backside on the way out.

Surely these 3 year graduating whizzes can get into any school they want.

No UT it has been reported. Florida doesn't have room.

Miami is avidly looking for transfers.

Arkansas could be a possibility.
