AstAte Notables:

Bill Bergey was the most famous Eagles Linebacker.

Elbert Shelley, long time special teams guru/DB for the Falcons
Fred Barnett deep threat for Randal Cunningham and the Eagles under Buddy Ryan.
Ken Jones key OL for OJ Simpson and the Bills.
Maurice Carthon Superbowl winning FB for the Giants and lead blocker for Hershel Walker for the USFLs NJ Generals.
Ray Brown big OL for a Number of teams who played about 20 years in the NFL.

I'm sure there are a few I missed.

RE: Who's Your Best Ever?
Our best just broke into the league last year and tore it up!

Alfred Morris

In his rookie year he broke the All Time rushing record for the Redskins held by Clinton Portis. How he didnt make the pro bowl is beyond me.

I think DJ Smith and Daniel Kilgore may surpass Coakley in the future. This is a good list.

It does say, Who's Your Best Ever?
I watched Larry Hand religiously, especially the Thanksgiving TV games. True Dexter Coakley may have shown the most talent, Armanti Edwards the most excitement in college, but to me Larry Hand was at least my Best Ever.

Yep, it's an opinion.

That said, I have decided people do not get the concept of 1, uno, une, ein, singular..... 03-banghead

No. Just no. You suffer frm the same delusion many eagle fans do. Simply because he didn't bring home a NC he isn't in consideration for being the best. The only thing I will give Ham over Foster is that he threw a better ball than Foster.

That. Is it.

Foster was great, but not even close to Ham. Ham today would be a starting QB at a major BCS program.
That's probably true. Lots of blatant discrimination against black QB's in the 80's and 90's.
The CFL is a passing league. So making the HOF at the QB position is no slouch.
People in Baltimore still remember Tracy from his championship season with the Baltimore stallions of the CFL.

Now that would be REALLY funny if Saint were a WKU fan. And even funnier if you had found a photo of a female goat... not that there's anything wrong with liking a male.

We've been calling the App's goat lovers for years! It's a shame (But good for the goats) that they won't get to play each other as conference foes.

Cool, I took "your" to mean "your school's." Semantics, carry on.
