He was pretty outstanding in 2002. In fact, according to those that count, he was most outstanding.

That likely would not have been the case had he lost, but then again, Rice has yet to have an MOP from the CWS, despite having a title.

I remember sitting in Reckling sometime during the streak and thinking, "If we keep playing this way, we may be able to go all the way!" Never really thought it would happen, till it did. Wow, wow,wow!!!
