OT: Women's NCAA Tournament
Louisville has made an improbable run through the tournament this year. Their style is very high risk, but as we can see, with that risk they can achieve some very high rewards. It will be interesting to see if they can run and shoot against UConn tomorrow night.

UConn (a team that one person on this board didn't think was worthy of an NCAA bid) has just steamrolled everybody in its path. They avenged three earlier losses to ND last night with a smothering defense and they don't have to face the only other team that beat them this year.

It will be an interesting final, but I expect UConn to win and win by a lot.

Who wouldn't think UCONN was worthy of a 1 seed let alone a bid? It was either them or Duke or the last #1 seed, and they whooped Duke this year. Their only losses were Baylor, and NDx3???

On one of the "UT Got Screwed!!!" threads, Crusher-something made an argument for UT and BG over UConn. It was spectacular.

Here you go! Although I suspect this "fan" is just a troll.

you seem like a troll and a half who just happens to be on a UT board............why you bother to trump up other teams that are not toledo on this site and then make fun of people who root for toledo is beyond me.

I didn't see anywhere where he said that UConn didn't deserve to be in the tournament. He was using them as an example for something.

Yeah, my degree, financial support of the school, and in-person support of the sports programs whenever I'm in town makes me quite the troll. If you've followed anything that I've posted, I think UT should have been in over Kansas and West Virginia, but I completely understand why they were left out.

Since so many people on here were such experts of women's basketball a couple weeks ago, I wanted to see what people had to say about tonight's game. It just so happens that a team you didn't find worthy of making the tournament is the favorite tonight.

They're in and probably will win it all so it doesn't matter what people thought does it.

RE: OT: Women's NCAA Tournament
UConn steamrolled everybody this entire tournament and tonight is no different. Louisville is spent. They have been in overdrive in every game since the first round and it's showing now. UConn doesn't have the same talent level as some of their past teams, but their depth is incredible. Breanna Stewart is probably the most complete player on the team and she's been coming off the bench most of the year.

One heck of a tournament for the Cardinals, though. This is the second championship game Walz has taken them to and it'll be interesting to see if Papa John's or YUM! Brands pony up the money to keep him from walking over to Ohio State or Rutgers after next season or any other big job that opens up. Louisville has the money to pay him and it'll be interesting to see what kind of deal he can get after the season ends.
