That's too bad. He always seemed on the brink of becoming a mainstay for the Rays. Does he fall on the Kenny Baugh/John Skaggs side of pitching use, or was his time at Rice more typical?

That was tongue-in-cheek remark. Jeff didn't seem to exhibit problems while at or leaving Rice. Then again, I'm in the stands not on the field.
