I only reluctantly root for Big Ten schools when they are playing SEC schools.

Otherwise, I root for Big Ten opponents every single time and have for almost fifty years.

I don't think you earn any credits for winning a national title. The credits stopped at the Final Four, I believe. This game is credit-less.

This is correct ever team in the final four earned 5 Units for their conference. Championship game receives nothing. Which I believe is lame. The Champ should receive something extra for their league. Maybe 2 million for the conference they are in.

Nah, I am a Yankee, born and bred, still totally one at heart despite 30 years in Louisiana. I don't cheer for Southern teams (unless they play the Big Ten).

My dislike of the Big Ten has nothing to do with North/South or "carpetbaggers".

Same hatred, but a different source/motivation/origin.
