RE: Interim Athletic Director
I say if the Rutgers AD is fired we go after him. He did get them into the Big10, which tells me he is always looking to improve.

RE: Interim Athletic Director
the new president should have been asked if hiring an AD was at the top of his priority list.

And he looked the other way while a coach was mistreating players and only did something when the situation went public. So he's literally unhireable.

RE: Interim Athletic Director
Yeah, the Associate ADs at the newer power BCS schools are really the ones we should be looking into. The Rutgers guy is out. But, if there is an Assoc AD at any of the Big East, now ACC schools or Boise/TCU, etc who are ready to make the jump, then that's who we should be looking at.

RE: Interim Athletic Director
I would add an Associate AD off the Louisville staff to the list as well as their programs seems to really have it rolling right now. Here is info on the current Idaho AD. Seems like they have been sinking money into upgrading their facilities over the last few years so hopefully Baker continues to value that here. I also agree that we need to go outside for the next AD

"They needed new revenue streams and more fans in the seats."

"Football season tickets jumped by 41 percent over a three-year span and annual giving went from $1.1 million to $1.65 – and growing."

I am reading what happened and I really wouldn't be against it.

Rutgers President and at least 3 BOT members all saw the tapes, knew the same info and had no issues with the original punishment.

Brett McMurphy ‏@McMurphyESPN 5m

Appears Pernetti is sacrificial lamb since at least 3 board members also saw Rice video & agreed w/initial suspension

I hope you're joking. What a disgusting individual. I'd take Ricardo back before him.

I would definitely look at the AD. He has experience growning a successful program and put them in a position where they appealed to a major conference.

Isn't that what we are looking for in a resume of a new AD?

Especially if he really did want to fire Rice months ago but wasn't allowed to do so. I don't know if I believe that story but if I heard correctly, the Rutgers president didn't really dispute that.

I am sure that Greg Schiano hired PJ but they no doubt know each other.
