That is a common problem for every BBHC (except maybe for UKY) in the "Football crazy" SEC. When I was at Bama in the 1960s, the BBHC was still an assistant FBAC (Hayden Riley) who liked BB. It was a few years later that Bryant brought in C.M. Newton as a real BB coach (UA President Frank Rose knew him while both were at Transylvania State College) with a BB only staff (John Bostick and "Wimp" Sanderson).
