Let's switch things up a bit. Give your predictions for 2013
Ok, so I thought I would switch things up a bit. Why don't we actually talk some football. List your predicted order of finish for 2013.

2013:

1) ULM - Almost all starters returning from an 8-5 bowl team and the leagues top QB at the helm in Browning. Barring a rash of injuries, I think the Warhawks get their second conference championship.

2) Cajuns - Broadway is a heck of a player and the Cajuns return a nice core group coming off an NOLA Bowl win.

3) stAte - Lose Aplin and still searching for a QB. Lot's of talent to replace, but I think still one of the top 3.

4) WKU - Petrino factor.

5) Troy - Troy starts to make a comeback in SBC relevancy. Could finish higher.

6) USA - Showed flashes last year. Start putting it together this year.

7) Texas St. - Had some nice wins last year and should improve this year.

8) Georgia St. - This is a work in progress. Will be a while before competitive.

RE: Let's switch things up a bit. Give your predictions for 2013
1. Louisiana: Replacing two solid offensive line starters, and reloading on defense.
2. Kolton Browning: Bowl game against Ohio is still fresh in his mind. He will take ULM with him on his path to vengeance.
3. WKU: Their depth will bring them to the 3 spot
4. Troy: We'll see if Troy can shore up their defense, and let Corey Robinson do his thing
5. stAte: No Aplin, new staff - we'll see
6. Texas State: Sleeper of 2013
7. USA: Not yet
8. Georgia State: Spring football article

RE: Let's switch things up a bit. Give your predictions for 2013
1. ULM- Browning is to ULM what Aplin was to stAte
2. UL- So long as Hudspeth is there, I always expect them to do well.
3. WKU- As someone else said, the Petrino factor
4. Troy- I think Bolt can bring our defense up for offense to really work.
5. stAte-No Aplin and Malzahn. But I could easily see them in 3rd too.
6. TXST- Good ole Texas recruiting helps. Coach Fran is no pushover.
7. USA- Definitely stronger this year. Could also be ahead of TXST
8. GaSt- Pretty self explanatory

Of course I never put any stock in these preseason predictions. Nobody predicted FIU's collapse last season. Anything could happen.

Seems the Louisiana schools are the ones to beat this year.
Troy's defense will move them up and may surprise.
WKU is too strong to be dismissed in any way.
Arkansas State and any of the top five could win it all.

1. Louisiana
2. ULM
3. Troy
4. WKU
5. stAte
6. Tx State
7. USA
8. GA State

I assume you're talking about Texas State, and he's only listing conference wins. So I'd say he's saying Georgia State and one other (maybe we are the team that beats Louisiana by fluke?).

Sounds as if it would have to be a big fluke if Louisiana is as strong as some people think they are going to be. ULM had so many good wins last year if not for better La. recruiting, may be wrong, and retention would think they would be at the top.

I call it a fluke because if his predictions panned out, Louisiana will lose just one game in conference, and we'll win 2.

If one of those wins is over the winless Georgia State in conference, and the other is against the undefeated Louisiana, I'd call it a fluke.

RE: Let's switch things up a bit. Give your predictions for 2013
I see people doubting stAte for the third year in a row. Replacing Aplin will be the key of course, but our coach is known for developing QBs. We return 4 of 5 OL, every RB, the top WR and TE and a lot of starters on defense. We have to go on the road to ULM but we have always played well down there.

1. Troy- Robinson is the best QB in the league.
2. stAte- We will lean more on our running game and defense.
3. UL- I think their QB will cut out mistakes with a year under his belt
4. ULM- Browing is good but will he make a whole season?
5. WKU- Best DL that we faced last year. They are all gone.
6. Texas State- Great recruiting class but still a year or two away.
7. USA- They might be better than I think but I just don't know.
8. Ga. St.- Hard to imagine they are going to do well the first year.

I agree with this one.

It will be interesting how it plays out. Should be an interesting year this year. Again, between all the top teams, it will all come down to who stays healthy, especially between Browning, Broadway, and Robinson.

RE: Let's switch things up a bit. Give your predictions for 2013
Stop putting us at the top this season.

1. ULM...you have no idea how hard that was to type.
2. WKU...behind Andrews and any QB is better than Jakes.
3. Louisiana...2014 will be our year, we will drop one or two on the road.
4. Troy...better D equals better results. I am tired of Robinson!
5. stAte...it is hard to place the Redwolves here, but can you hit it big with 3 coaches in a row? Plus you lost Aplin.
6. Texas St...the Bobcats are scary...solid improvement last year and i expect them to be around 6-6.
7. South Al...getting better, just not there yet.
8. GSU...terrible, I hope you guys can get it going. But I also want to put up 100 points against y'all for stealing our 6th HG.

Not only are we returning Robinson who is one of the top passers in the country we have Deon who can Run and pass... The Dual QB system will be ran this year much like late last year after WKU game
