The self-appointed 'Most Powerful Man In Memphis' is telling us "the right way to react" to the Adonis and probable Black departures. That's the article and that's some kind of power I tell you.

I think that's about right.

Though I wish Tarik would give it another year, but like he says, I think we'll be fine.

I like Calkins. I know he's snarky, but still like him . . . . . most of the time anyway.

Why does anyone give much credence to someone who makes judgements and comments based on how much they people he comments on kiss his arse?

If you aren't tight with Calkins he'll talk crap about you if the environment allows and if you are tight with Calkins he'll always find excuses.

Calkins has always said what the average Memphian thinks.
Though I'm not in Memphis anymore...he's still about 95% on my wavelength on a lot of issues surrounding the University of Memphis players and coaches.
I don't think he has ever been unreasonable with what he has written about our school.

The appeal posted it on twitter for free. Not a bad article,as a matter of fact it was pretty smart. He was saying we shouldn't react harshly but he was taking digs also.By digs I mean pointing out the flaws in their reasoning.
