Had a chance to talk with him a bit in December of 1978 when the Rockets played at San Diego State... He was very approachable, and appreciative that I made the trek down from LA, for the game that night...

Really good article. Class move by Coach K to put a big photo of Nichols in the locker room. I hope all the players learn about his legacy and strive to return us to the days of consistent 20 win seasons and get us back to the NCAAs.
