LOL...you're probably right. WKU fans are a little sensitive to this kind of speculation over the years. It all started with the first raid of the Sun Belt in 1990 and continued through successive raids.

This is one of those situations where you are excited, but is quite honestly more of a "sigh of relief" that we "made it." No offense to any one school in the SBC, and I truly enjoy playing UL, Ark State, USA, Troy, but the conference is no where the same conference we joined in 1982, nor is it the conference we enjoyed even in 2008.

I hope a few of you can join us (looking at you Arkansas State!)

I'm happy for you guys, but I'm mad at yall at the same time for leaving us behind with all these strangers. It doesn't feel like the Sun Belt anymore. Over the past few years, we could make an argument that the SBC was better than C-USA, but now

WKU don't leave just because we are joining the family.
We wash up pretty well.

Gonna miss you guys, more since Dabeed and crew came down for an ass whippin. But, it just goes to show you what a proactive AD can do. Congrats guys!

I was actually pleased and excited about Appalachian State and Georgia Southern.

I would have gladly taken WKU in the American 12 to help strengthen the basketball side of the conference. They are certainly more appealing than Rice in both football and hoops.

FAU, FIU, Western Kentucky and Middle Tenessee. Wow were getting the whole band back together...

I dont care about North Texas because they are in the western division so nyah ;-)

We are getting the old band together, UAB, Old Dominion, Charlotte, and La Tech --- all past members of the Sun Belt.

North Texas has had moments of brilliance. I have no problems with them. Just never really generated much of a rivalry with them. I do remember the crazy basketball game down there where Anthony Winchester won on a near half-court desperation shot.

Yeah, I don't agree with that. Shouldn't move teams until they being play. They've been doing that for everyone.

Certainly move us until after the press conference, at the least. lol
