Dang FAU. You guys are coming out of nowhere. Your sweep this weekend may have just put the target on your back as being the team new to beat this season.

I think some of you guys have been not been paying as close attention to baseball this year. FAU is really darn good. They have a few losses because they played an extremely difficult out of league schedule, but that 7-2 league mark is no joke.

Currently sitting at 18-9 overall. Four more road games on the way...Jacksonville for the midweek game, and a weekend series with App. Dropped 2 of 3 this weekend though to UNCG. We were at #22 in the polls...who knows if we'll remain. Still leading the conference though.

After losing the first two series against the the two current SBC leaders (FAU and WKU), FIU finally wins a series, by sweeping ASU in their series in Miami.

Its going to be hard to change. Travel is too hectic, and it would also cost an extra day of class time. If we had a bunch of regional games, sure...but many trips wont be.
