IMO we need to keep the identity of the BE since it is one of the media's favorite conferences imo. They love the reference to "them" i.e. the east.

So I'm going to nominate a similar name that will remind people of the legacy of the old BE, yet won't conflict with the MBB success of the old conference and hopefully enhance the remaining members of the revised BE. Also it would still be unique and "media-ble".

It reminds the media and fans throughout the nation that the legacy of the BE is maintained, yet doesn't conflict with the other league allowed to keep the BE name.

I like that better than the "Metropolitan"......The only thing is if Conn were to leave their would be very little East left.
