And *another* sac bunt AND *another* walk. Way to go, Owls. Patience, patience.

Stringer with long fly out at the right field wall. Ewing doubled off because looked like extra bases.

Tough luck for the Owls B7. Onto the 8th, 6 outs from a big conference W. Fox back on the bump.

Let's have another DP.
Bad time to give up yet another walk. Could really use that DP now.

EDIT: There he is! Hey, Walt. Welcome to the thread. So far, so good. Bunting, stealing, taking pitches and walking. :)
Only dropping in periodically, as I'm preparing my words to say at my Grandma's funeral tomorrow in NY. Celebration of nearly 105 years of a very full and vibrant life (her birthday is in May). Fortunately, I saw her last just two weeks again when last in NY, and she was in both good health and spirits-- the perfect way to remember her by.
Condolences, Walt. Sounds like a darn good life.
Likewise, Walt.

Tying run at the plate for the Green Wave. Time for a little Lemond-Aid.

Maybe a good move. We need this game - cannot afford to lose a game at home against a mediocre team, especially when we have a decent lead.

Crohan up. He is 2 for 3, with a double.

Weak pop to Stringer. He dropped it trying to avoid infield fly rule. One out.

Boudreaux. Crohan. Tulane has a lot of almost-Adam-Sandler characters. Looking for a Happy Matheson on the roster...

Cannizaro with 3-2 count. Lemond looked as if he had pickoff at 2nd. But gets K.

Zech gives up a 2-out single for 1 run. 4-2 Rice. Tying run now at 1B for Tulane.

Some insurance runs would be welcome. We do not need this excitement.
