UVA was one of VT's blockers. There was no way UVA wanted VT in the same conference.

JMU08, you were misinformed. Syracuse didn't have enough votes so UVA suggested VT. http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-267397.html

Sorry to post and disappear! Been in Augusta all day for the first round of the Master's. great day! Can't reveal my source of the SBC visit next week...like my job too much! But it is credible, very credible."

I do know for a fact that FIA was lobbying for FAU to move together. Travel partners must mean something.

Can the new CUSA schools vote on expansion yet, or do thy have to be in the conference?

Any chance the Carr report highlights our alumni base in DC and Richmond so well it's turns a conference on to us?

Are you saying that ODU shouldn't lobby for JMU? I'm all for regional schools sticking together.

Nope, the opposite. I am happy ODU is lobbying for us.
