Dude, you can try and create this false equivalency between CUSA and the A12 until you're blue in the face, but it's just not true. UNT is not UH. ODU is not ECU. If nothing else, look at bowl games. The defectors have all been to real bowl games like the Sugar, Sun, Capital One, Liberty, and Independence Bowl. There's a Heisman trophy in the moving van, too.
The expansion teams have almost no history at that level. And unless/until they get out of CUSA , they'll have zero opportunity to build a history at that level. Are we all "have nots?" Perhaps... but I would rather play on Saturday before 50,000 than play on Thursday before 20,000.
I'd rather not schedule teams that don't even exist yet at all, FFS. If that happens, after all we've done, people need to get fired. People very may get fired at USM, although the real culprits are long gone.
