Top 10 Huskies
In honor of the start of spring practice I thought I would throw out a top 10 list of Huskie players. This is based on what we know today. Someone like Charlie Miller or an incoming freshman could tear it up this fall but we haven't seen that yet.
I feel good about the first few but after that anything goes. There are a lot of good players which is a nice problem to have.
1. Jordan Lynch - Ya think?
2. Jimmie Ward - The Jordan Lynch of the defense.
3. Tommylee Lewis - Gamebreaker any way you get him the ball.
4. Ken Bishop - A one man wrecking crew in the Orange Bowl.
5. Jamaal Bass - Even with some dumb penalties mixed in.
6. Akeem Daniels - Need to get him the ball.
7. Dechane Durante - A second Mercedes at safety.
8. Andrew Ness - Anchored the Oline as a freshman.
9. Joe Windsor - Lives in the backfield.
10. Mat Sims - Most clutch kicker since Steve Azar.

All-MAC OL lineman Tyler Loos was injured toward the end of the year. He probabably deserves a mention.

RE: Top 10 Huskies
This would be my top 10, most of the same players, some a different order.
1. Jordan Lynch-best player in the MAC
2. Jimmie Ward- realistically hes 1b to JL's 1a. He is our best NFL prospect
3. Ken Bishop- he will be 1st team All-MAC this year
4. Akeem Daniels- GET HIM THE BALL
5. Tommlyee Lewis- real tough to choose between he and Akeem, our most explosive offensive guys not named Lynch
6. Tyler Loos- He has some injury issues, but he was the best OL last year, and undersized for a tackle even
7. Joe Windsor- I asked a buddy on the team who was the most athletic player- Windsor was 2 on that list, lots of sacks last yr
8. Dechane Durante- When healthy he is VERY good, not quite Jimmie Ward, but they make the best safety duo in the MAC
9. Anthony Wells- I thought he did well last year, he and Bishop will be tough, add in Gordon, our DTs are nasty
10. Jamaal Bass- I want to see some mental improvement here, has all the physical tools and gets to the ball, get it together upstairs and he can slide quite a few spots up on this list
