Delle Donne: Just watched the Delaware Blue Hens beat UNC, I agree with LR Trojan , Delle Donne is a fantastic Lady ball player. I believe I heard LR TRojan say she was the best Lady player he had ever seen. Britney Griner and Baylor is playing Fla. State now. Question for LRTrojan. Would you take Delle Donne over Griner if you had to choose? My other question is, how did Foley miss on both those players?

RE: Blue Hens
That's like comparing Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan. Both great, but different. Griner is an unstoppable force around the basket. Delle Donne can put the ball on the floor and shoot the three as well as score around the basket.
I think Joe didn't recruit them because they couldn't play defense.

Of course Griner is great, and huge(for a women). Not many women around that can guard her. As Doc says, Della Donne can post up, handle the ball, slash, and is a great free throw shooter(92%). I see Della Donne as a more complete and all around player.

That would be a tough question who I'd take over the other, but I believe it would be Della Donne.

RE: Blue Hens
That's why Coach Foley didn't recruit them. He said if he couldn't have both, then he didn't want either one.
