Coach Cullop tweeted that the ticket office sold 800 tickets for Thursday's game in the first hour. Love it!

That is awesome and I hope it continued for several more hours. If anybody gets any updates on ticket sales please share. I think it is important to really pack the house for a big ten team and also to show MOB and Dr. Jacobs how much we appreciate them bidding on these games for Naama and the seniors and all the fans.

Remembering from the last NIT run, my only request would be to have ticket vouchers for fans after the games. As I recall, after having tickets for the entire run, it was nearly impossible to get a ticket for the final if you had a day job. Fortunately a nice message boarder helped me out but I came close to being shut out for the final. It was a great memory for me.

Attendance around 4,800 is what I expect. Had 2,500+ last game. it is after all only the sweet16, and tix aren't cheap. Last year we didnt eclipse 4,000 until the weekend game vs. Syracuse, which had 5,000+ i believe.
Helps that Illinois is a bigger name? Do people really expect a sell out?

I'm thinking between 3 to 4,000 at best. I would say the initial run on tickets today was made the regulars who have been there the last couple of games. Ohio State's mens team plays at 7, and I've heard from more than a couple of people that they would like to go see UT, but they are going to watch the OSU game instead. It will be interesting to see how many tickets sell between now and Thursday night. Regardless, I will be there, three rows behind the Illini bench. I may have to call for cavalry reinforcements if it gets nasty.

Anybody else remember Reiser owning the Illini when they visited Savage Hall in the early '80's. Tim schooled Derek Harper and Tucker.

What time is the game at? I've never been down to see a women's game while Naama has been playing. No work on Friday - so it might work out. If they win, when would they play again? - Saturday?

Gametime is 7pm Thursday. Highly recommended if you have never seen Naama or the rest of this team play in person.

The next round would be Sat, Sun, or Mon.

If the Rockets win, they get the winner of Ball St vs Kansas St. FYI, KSU will be hosting their 3rd straight WNIT game. They ranked 29th in WBB attendance at 3,864.

You should definitely come thurs. It will be awesome and the next game will probably be at Kansas st and we may not get another home game. It will be worth the time and money but be careful you might get hooked like 3500+ season ticket holders did

It looks like the Illini play at a fast pace and can shoot. This is definitely clickin' it up another level. Rockets are gonna have to bring their A game and be ready to run.
