Good for both of them, and opens some more scheduling opportunites for ODU during our transitions. I look forward to actually holding a lead v. Ga Southern, and have always respected Appy's program.

I hope the nay sayers see now why it was important for us to move when we did. I hope we can schedule GSU every year now. I did see somewhere that JMU was also a possible Belt addition and Delaware a possible C-USA East addition if the West moves anymore.

My bet is that when Western Kentucky moves to C-USA, JMU will go to the Sun Belt.

I think Liberty University will get the chance to move up before JMU. Liberty has the money to buy their way in

Idaho and New Mexico State to the Sunbelt too.

There is going to be one opening left after the WKU/Tulsa move. Liberty wants it and JMU needs it.

Deja Vu? If we can add VCU, Jacksonville, South Florida, and South Alabama, we would be the old Sun Belt from the late 80's.

I'd actually like USA if we were to lose USM.

The Idaho pick came out of left field. Makes me think something bad is afoot.... or maybe the Sun Belt presidents just felt sorry for them.

Not having to wait 2 years for an FBS move is important. Also the Sun Belt commissioner used to work for the WAC, which he had a hand in killing, and may have felt bad for them.

I'm sure there was a lot of pleading from Idaho and NMSU. They want to stay FBS, but clearly they cannot survive as an Indy. SBC doesn't exactly have the gravitas to thumb their nose at them when they bringing in App State and the two GSUs.

As of now the #SunBelt is preparing to lose two more schools. #JMU will get one of the conference invites.

One thing is for sure, if jmu does to the sun belt, the Caa is dead as a door nail.

I think cusa has to pick one more up for utep out of the west conference. Which would means the basketball tournament is up for bidding.
