You're right. Forgot CUSA has a TV payout of around $1 million/school which is way better than what the Sunbelt has.
Here I was thinking about being rational.

CUSA has not signed a new agreement since adding 8 or so teams and losing most of the league have they?

No, I believe the networks decided to keep the current contract at the same value with the teams that were added.

Doesn't mean when it is re-negotiated in the future that it won't decrease though. The new schools in CUSA have a few years to prove they are worth more than the Belt when it comes to television value. If they don't, then I imagine there will be little different in television revenue between the conferences.
