Thank you, Tiger fans who made the trip!
Thanks to all who journeyed to Michigan to cheer our team on. I could hear you all loud and clear yelling and shouting "D-up, D-up" and "T-i-g-e-r-s, Tigers!" That was a very loud crowd of Michigan folks, but you all were very audible. I know our team appreciated you all immensely.

And thanks also to the band, which could also be heard very well. It was great to hear you all playing the fight song clear to the end.

We had a decent showing. Sellout on Saturday. Michigan State fans clearly remembered 2008. The Palace has a lot of good features but the seating is small by any standards and the exit from the arena is an LA traffic jam.
Overall in person the size of Spartan players vs Us was very noticeable.
Bartlett Travel did an excellent job I might add.

Yep I was down behind the goal and their bigs are NBA ready. The looks on Tarik & shaqs faces were dazed, confused & scared. Freaking Joe is to be commended for how well he battled yesterday. I will say this, on many of our missed layups, there was a lot of slapping sounds. A lot went uncalled. Especially against DJ.

The fans in attendance represented tiger fans well. The end was a little embarrassing though, the way we completely unravelled. I swear I saw Izzo with his hand on his chin looking at Pastner with a grin.

I believe CBS showed Izzo grinning when a media timeout had just been called after one of his rarely used subs hits a bucket in the paint and the game was definitely not in doubt. I would think the grin was a reaction to the sub making that basket.

By "seating is small," do you mean literally the size of the seats? Reason I ask is because I believe The Palace has the largest seating capacity in the NBA.

Must be talking about size of the seats. It's hard for any normal sized person to get their butt in and out of those seats. Seriously, I'm like 5'10 185 and I was almost getting stuck.

The Palace was anything but palatial. It was built a few years before the Pyramid and it shows. It holds more than the forum but has less bathrooms and both upstairs and downstairs use the same concourse. Lines for bathroom and concession stand block the concourse. They splurged on a BWW inside and some nice signage but that's about it.

Seat width and aisle leg room were woefully narrow...

Yeah, they should have put in upper and lower concourses with bathrooms and concession stands on both. The traffic jam in the concourse at half time was hard to believe. The line for the men's bathrooms was about 15 minutes. It was a good thing that the NCAA does not allow beer sales (or any alcohol sales) during the tourney, or the lines would have been even worse.
