Something Josh said before the game
I was sitting in the stands watching the Spartans warm up & becoming very disturbed by the stature of their bigs. I had my ear phones on & was listening to pregame interviews. Josh said that the most important thing to winning in the tourney is 3 pt shooting. He went on to explain why he felt that way & bragged about the Tigers 3 pt shooting...

I don't know, but the last time I checked, because of the evolution of the college game; rebounding, defense, low turnovers & free throw shooting are the keys to success in the tourney. Yeah sometimes a Harvard catches lightening in a bottle & 3 pt shooting wins a game, but that's the exception. It's the teams who do the 4 things that I listed who historically advance in the tourney. AKA izzo & coach K coached teams.

Maybe JP was just making an off the cuff remark, but that's a concerning statement coming from the coach of a program who has for 4 years now struggled to make an identity for itself.

I still believe this program is turning a corner. I feel that JP was placed in a bad spot when Cal left the cupboard dry. JP had to settle for players that have been headcases. Now those players turn out to hinder him even more because they are still head cases. He's stuck with them while at the same time he was forced to take them. Now he has to wait them out while he builds a team with what he really wants. Lets just hope the players coming in are teachable players with a lot of heart like DJ.

I still feel next season will be huge! But that might have a prerequisite of losing a few players that aren't seniors.

Are you sure that's what he said? He has been saying that the 3 point shot is an equalizer, but never heard him say it's the most important thing.

He said it. And more than once. He also used the word equalizer. I disagree with that. More teams lose while depending on it than teams that win by it.

I just read the last paragraph of your post. Did you really just call our players headcases? Holy crap....this just gets better and better. I am reporting this post and you. You need to be banned, you're freaking headcase.
