That's my thought too. 16 with 2 more compact 8 team divisions and brings 3 good FB teams and good WKU basketball.

Geography. 7 in each division, UAB goes west. I rather be in the east. Would hate not playing MTSU in FB every year. Maybe they will do a permanent cross divisional rivalry.

I too would like the 16 team setup with two 8 team divisions. Taking ASU and ULL would also pretty much kill off the SBC. It would continue to exist, but it would be almost entirely FCS move-ups.

Yup.

I would take all three. Logically it makes sense. Keep WKU and UAB in the East plus you make travel easy for LA Tech and USM by adding ULL. ArkState brings another southern state into the fray and they have a good football program.

Yep. 7 of 12in nBE are very recent CUSA. 3 others were CUSA several years ago. It will be like old home week for you guys.

CUSA will be 5 of 14 recently Sun Belt, 5 holdovers, 2 from the defunct WAC and 1 from FCS and one totally new program. Wow.

Between MTSU and WKU it's roughly 100 miles, but MTSU and UAB is 200. All 3 schools are just about on the same plane, but since most of the east schools are north of Tennessee's south borderline, don't you think it makes more sense for UAB to shift West?

Of course, this could change... but we'll get to that later.

Why WKU? Why not Wichita or VCU? Also, why Tulsa, they are an excellent school with good athletics but they don't add much in the way of a media market? Not talking smack, I'm seriously asking what you guys think.
