I expected you to lash out like a little ***** at some point after the horrible sports week you've had. It's still sad to see but not unexpected.

Our baseball team beat #2 Vanderbilt so it wasn't totally horrible.

true. I was talking mainly about his teams(MT and Belmont) losing in the tourney and the school that gave him most of his butthurt winning.

Middle Tennessee State suspended star quarterback Dwight Dasher for accepting benefits that violate the NCAA’s amateur rules.

The university released a statement Friday announcing the penalty. Dasher will miss 30 percent of the season.
Here is part of the statement from MTSU athletic director Chris Massaro:
“While there are a lot of sides to the story involving student-athlete Dwight Dasher, all parties agree that there was a $1,500 loan. Therefore, due to a violation of the NCAA amateurism legislation, we are declaring Dwight Dasher ineligible for competition but will be seeking his reinstatement. While we are seeking reinstatement, Dasher will be allowed to practice. It is anticipated that Dasher will miss some competition,” Massaro said.
The press release goes on to say that the school has turned in a letter to the NCAA Student-Athlete Reinstatement Staff and awaits their decision.
Dasher was under investigation by the university and MTSU police for not repaying a loan and stealing checks from teammate Colin Boss to use as collateral. No formal charges were filed in the case.

Btw--I respect MTSU. I think they are on the rise and a good school.
We all have issues. To point them out in another ignores our own.
Would is have been okay if Porter did it?
Since when do kids not deserve another shot? What is college athletics really about?

Well said on all counts.
One of the posters in this thread once told me that holding ill will or dislike for a university made no sense for a long list of reasons. I only make that statement because of the irony of that statement today.
Perhaps someday the world will look clearer from an objective viewpoint.

I guess Tiger Scholarship Fund sends mail to trolls? Got my renewal letter from Bowen this week and my M-Club dues are pre-paid to 2019.
How about you?

Likewise, Jim. You are a good man and you have been around it a lot longer than me.
Tiger fans like yourself probably feel like you have sweated blood since 1976 when things started to go bad.
I cannot believe Bowen is allowing Fuente to go this route again. The night I attended the town hall meeting for M-Club members, I was the last guy to speak and looked him dead in the eye. I told him he had a chance to start with a clean slate. Pete had just reminded Bowen that the four of us former players who were sitting there had our senior year ruined by NCAA probation (for offenses we had no part in)
The Highland Hundred senior dinner we were served at Anderton's was attended by less than 20 members. They held a mini "roast" of the seniors by Coach Armstrong and then Charlie Fisher said a few words before we ate dinner by ourselves in the restaurant. Charlie told Mr. Herb to "feed us anything we asked for.". I felt sorry for Charlie because of the way he had to handle the whole affair.
Some of these "fans" can call me a troll but they don't have a clue. And the guy who fired the first butt hurt shot was still chasing his teenage girlfriends around Harding Academy during those times.

How on earth is this going to lead to probation?
