Again, he's just not missing ANY bats today. Most of his strikes have been foul balls.

Byrd made a great catch in center almost at the wall. Down 3-0 going to the 4th.

RE: Rice vs. USM (Friday Night Game)
AK walks the leadoff batter, but no further damage, though a couple balls were hit pretty hard. Still no strikeouts, and very few swings and misses.

Stringer flied out to CF.
Teykl singled.
Aquino struck out. Runner on 1B, two outs.
Fox flied out to RF.

Down 0-3 heading to the bottom of the fourth inning.

Tweeted JP and he answered on the feed that AK is not being squeezed that he can see. The dugout is not "barking" either.

Another 0-2 hit given up by AK. He is definitely not himself tonight.

RE: Rice vs. USM (Friday Night Game)
Austin gives up a one-out single, but that is quickly erased with a caught stealing by Perrott! AK finally got his first two strikeoutsKK. Time to start scratching and clawing. Need baserunners.

Ratterree leadoff double into the gap. Great AB by Michael, as he was originally down 0-2 and battled back to 2-2. Need to capitalize.
Perrott flied out to LF.
Byrd RBI single! 02-13-banana Another great AB by Leon. Down 1-2, he worked it back to 3-2 before delivering.
Stainback grounded into double play. Ugh. Ford not have a very good night so far.
At least we got one back.

Down 1-3 heading to the bottom of the fifth inning.

I'm picturing Pierce getting tired. Very Tired. You are getting sleepy. Sleepy. Zzzzzzzzzz.

RE: Rice vs. USM (Friday Night Game)
First 1-2-3 inning of the game for AK (fly, line out, ground out). We are out hitting USM 6-5 (and both of us have two doubles); the difference is AK's 3 BBs. Let's keep scratching back.

Cook struck out.
Stringer worked out a rare walk against Pierce (only his 5th in 43.0 IP).
Teykl infield single. Runners on 1B and 2B, one out.
Aquino grounded out to P, with runners advancing into scoring position. Two outs. Need a clutch hit here.
Fox first pitch ground out to 2B.

Still down 1-3 heading to the bottom of the sixth inning, as time is starting to run out.

Credit to our guys for really making him work. We just haven't been able to capitalize.
