Agreed, so, chances are that the more McD's AA's, the better your team will be, and they should win more games. So, one would expect that if the team has 60% of it starting line-up MCD"s AA's, then we can at least make it to the Sweet 16. So, why all of the clamoring over 1 win in the big dance?

My point is that many of the fans on here have expectations are unreasonably low for this team. The players and coaches have higher expectations that most fans on here (JJ and Adonis have gone on record as saying their goal is to be in Atlanta in April, and Pastner has stated he expects to win gameS in the tourney). If they see the fans agree with those expectations, then perhaps they can have more confidence.

So why limit our own expectations as fans? If they don't make it, then we can still support them and say it was a good season, but we and they know they have a good a chance as most to be in the Final Four. I do not see how that is unreasonable.

I'm confused, just because we have 3 Mcd. AA means what exactly? We're entitled to elite 8's every year? That's not how things work.

Is it an upset to lose to a higher seed who has just as much talent? If not then how can you complain or be upset with losing to them?

It is my opinion. I said I am ok with losing if that happens. This year was about respect and Pastner got it. I don't even know who you are talking about either. It is a nice scape goat though to use banned posters to get someone to get banned. Grow up.

What? I don't think you understand what you are agreeing with. If you took a random selection of players and put together a team then yes, you would have a higher probability of winning more games with more all-americans. Higher probability based on a random selection, however, never turns into a guarantee of sweet 16 based. Once they have played the probabilities break down because you have more data that breaks down the importance of AA status
