Any Roos think you'd have been better off hanging onto Shaka Smart vs. KD?

VCU is impressive. Fluid, aggressive, in sync with each other, everyone seems in the flow. Bad year for a MAC team to play them. Akron is in way over their heads talent-wise, and Dambrot has no answers. Treadwell is the only guy who looks like he could play for VCU. Marshall has been mostly invisible other than a couple of moments.

Kind of a pointless year for the MAC. Peak years for the two best teams just didn't work out, and neither will be as good next year, and no other team looks to be ready to do more than just be "good for a MAC team." Conference needs help.

So why did nobody in the MAC think to press Akron for a whole game?

Neither will be as good but both will be among the MAC best. That doesn't say much for next year. We have so far to go. I really thought the Zips might hang with VCU.

Nobody in the MAC can play 1 through 12 off the bench like VCU does.
