And UConn beat Louisville at Louisville back in November, so UConn would probably be a factor in the ACC race next year as well, if it was in the conference.

I wonder if UConn could beat Florida?

Florida lost to 5-7 Mizzou and pulled one out of their butts to beat Louisiana Laffayette, so they weren't the huge juggernaut that coudnt be beaten.

Hate the ACC 03-puke but Louisville would more then have their hands full with Clemson, FSU and Miami next year. VT and UNC would also not be cake walks. It is a shame Louisville is not in the ACC in 2013 because it would make for an interesting race between UL, Clemson and FSU for the ACC Championship.
I live in SC so I follow USC and Clemson. Both of those teams will be damn good next year with the Gamecocks being the better of the two but Clemson will definitely make a run for the ACC Championship. Gamecocks could be flat out nasty and should be preseason Top 10, probably coming in 6-8 range in ranking. Clemson should come in around #11-15 so in about the same range as Louisville.

As for UCONN playing a factor in the ACC race ?? 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

Last year, UConn beat Louisville and Maryland. And we lost to NC State in a close one, 10-7.

UConn could play in the ACC without getting embarrassed.

Bottom half of ACC is ugly so I agree. UCONN would not be a factor in the ACC except maybe spoiler.

UL winning will not hurt the new conference. It will either be forgotten once UL leaves OR, if UL was to win a BCS game, it would give a slight bump to the profile of C-TBD...if they have a name by then!

+1. I don't think many Louisville fans would claim the 2013 ACC would be a cakewalk. I also don't think one game (UConn upsetting UofL in 2012) is more representative than an entire season of play, which was very underwhelming for UConn.
