Coach is panicing (and, yes, that's the correct word for it) if he's having Rat squeeze with a guy on 3B rather than let him try for the sac fly (or hit). I could understand it with someone else, but not Ratterree.

oh you cannot be serious, Walt. You're suggesting that Coach Graham is panicking? absolutely ridiculous

And Michael follows it with a 2 RBI rip to left center. 5-0 good guys!

UTSA 3b makes great catch on foul ball diving into the fence. Rice fans give him a nice round of applause!

RE: Rice vs. UT-SA (Wednesday Game)
Wow! After giving up a ground single, then walking two batters, Chase managed to get out of it with a beautiful (for us) 3-6-1 double play. Nice play by both Ewing (starting it) and McDowell (covering). Huge play.

Ratterree reached on E-5. And the scouting report comes true-- UT-SA's left side of the infield has committed 20 errors now on the season. And we have our most reliable bunter due up.
Perrott line single to LF. Runners on 1B and 2B. Byrd has to execute here (as he missed his last time up)...
Pitcher #4 for Roadrunners, So RHP Pacheco (4-0, 2.96 ERA, 27.1 IP, 18 Ks, 4 BBs), who I believe is their staff ace and Friday starter...
Byrd fails to execute the sac bunt (we're now a woeful 0-5 on the night) and flies out. Horrenous execution all night long.
Stainback walked to load the bases with one out.
Stringer breaks out of his mini-slump with a clutch, 2-RBI double! 02-13-banana 02-13-banana Runners on 2B and 3B, one out. Need to get at least one more this inning.
Pitcher #5, Sr RHP Sharp, who started the year as their Sunday starter (0-1, 18.1 IP, 6.87 ERA, 23 hits, 9 BBs, 8 Ks). Be patient as he has struggled with his control. Get ahead of the count and wait for him to groove one...
Aquino 2-RBI single into the gap! 02-13-banana 02-13-banana Finally, an explosion! Runner on 1B, one out.
Teykl popped to 3B. Runner on 2B, two outs.
Cook struck out.

Good guys lead 5-0 heading to the top of the sixth inning.

RE: Rice vs. UT-SA (Wednesday Game)
Chase surrenders a one-out double, but strands him there (3 ground outs). BTW, they changed the scoring on the previous hit to an error on Stainback (his 2nd of the game); so the double broke up Chase's no-no.

Ewing popped to 1B.
Ratterree struck out swinging.
Perrott (don't look now but he's hitting .346 with an OBP > .450)...singled up the middle (now 3-3!).
Byrd singled. Runners on 1B and 2B, two outs.
Stainback struck out.

Good guys lead 5-0 heading to the top of the seventh inning.

..but Skyler made a game-saving play at 1B with his starting the inning-ending DP with bases loaded.

That's just wrong. CF boot in 1st allowed runner to advance to 2nd on single to center in 1st inning.

That one stands. He took away the E-5 and gave Rat a hit.

Case may be tiring. 2 out single now. And the 'Gambler' makes an appearance. Chase still in.

Chase has hit the wall. He has left the ball up in the zone to every batter this inning-- fly out, HR, fly out, line single, line double. He pitched great, but let's not press our luck. I truly hope someone has been warming up.
