Almost everyone in the nation disagrees with Josh. If we lose against ST Marys or MTSU it has been a very disappointing season.

Josh repeatedly said that they are in the tournament to win games and to the question about pressure being on the team in winning that first game, he said that the team already faced pressure before, this year and last year in the regular season and that he understand that ultimately the team will be judge by the fans and media on what they do in the tournament but that they had a great year already and wasn't going to let anyone take that away. Josh was defending his team!

I think Pastner handled it fine, but he does have a bad habit of repeating himself and staying on a certain topic for a bit longer than he should.

As he gets older and more experienced with the media he'll likely get better at this just like he seems to be improving as an X and O's coach.

The UofM BB job is probably a top 10 job when it comes to local media coverage and local fan scrutiny.

This is the only opinion of the list. He spent a lot of time taking in circles about losing the first game when he didn't have to. That is not consistent with being positive. Calling out Vernon and Calkins in post game pressers isn't "positive" either. Not saying he doesn't have that right, it is just not part of what he tries to portray himself as--being super positive.

Actually the first question was about the pressure which started Josh on his rant. Then came the well what if you lose....

Josh basically wants the same credit the 2008 team got for the entire season because we went undefeated against CUSA. He said it in many different ways. Then the callers started calling in and calling him out on how ridiculous that is. Even Dave stressed over and over, whether fair or not, you are judged by what you do in the NCAA, not in the regular season. Josh couldn't accept it, even though it is the truth, and went on a cry fest.

It is what it is, even if my life is miserable, truth is truth is truth is truth.

My truth is, there are about 50 coaches I would take over Josh in a heartbeat.

Maybe your life is miserable because you are miserable...
