Way too expensive of a trip to see NIU play UMass. I know that's the cost, but I'd never pay that kind of money to see the Huskies play UMass.

If I lived in the Chicago area my wife and I would consider it, it is only in part to see the game, it is also a mini vacation and an opportunity to visit Boston a city that I have only been to briefly in the past. We love the Soldier Field games in part because it is a great excuse to visit Chicago. Win or lose we always enjoy ourselves. Last year we enjoyed some great blues music at Buddy Guys and just enjoyed staying in the Loop. We brought our bicycles and took a 20 mile ride along the Lake before the game. Good times!

Yeah I think Huskie fans are ready for a "world class" experience at home, we have had enough of expensive travel packages.

The off-season: what will be complained about next

At this point I am just hoping to be able to afford my season tickets.

You don't have to do the package. This will be a nice trip . If you have never been to Boston its a great town. I paln on a Thur-Sun trip and will put it together on my own
