I didn't realize 5th/3rd had a significantly larger attendance capacity than Huntington? Glassbowl would be fun as other football stadiums have done. Certainly better views than seats at the infield level would be. Given the level of high school hockey in the area, wouldn't mind a shortened high school game with a Walleye game. Northview - SJJ or SFS?

I have absolutely nothing to complain about that beauty. How many minor league stadiums do you know of that you can walk around the entire stadium, which is a big, big win in my books. And the concessions are very good! As far as the Huntington Center goes, it's nice. Nothing too special. But definitely modern looking and classy. Not a huge fan of the location, seems kind of hidden and I also agree, it's rather small. I definitely want some arena football in Toledo though!!
Yeah, I'm not quite following Crusher's complaint of 5th/3rd but to each their tastes. I really like the location but then it's a reasonable walk for me.
I pretty much agree with your take on Huntington also. I like a center location but would have hoped the could have located it closer to 75, putting the warehouse district in between. I think that would have provided more synergy, room for expansion and eventual relocation of the convention center.
pretty easy to see my complaint, i said it before.....they wont use it for anything else besides baseball. not concerts, nothing.

Comerica Park's grass was still messed up last summer ('12) from a concert during the summer of '10 (or was it '11?). And there is no way they will have any concerts during the baseball off-season because the weather is way too iffy.
