Memphis Just Wins!!
I've followed Tiger basketball since 1968 listening to Big Jack on the radio. I saw almost every home game when i was a student from '76-'80. I've had season tickets since graduation. My kids think I am a raving maniac watching Tiger away games at home.

I've been slow to warm to this group of kids (from a basketball stand point; they are a great example of student athletes) but watching today's game made me relalize: Memphis just wins!!

They showed so much heart today and everyone contributed in their roles and did not try to do too much. Great coaching job by Josh and the staff (whoever did the scouting report did a great job).

So, no matter how we do going forward, I will remember this team as the one that had the will to find a way to win.

RE: Memphis Just Wins!!
They certainly did show heart and the desire to claw back to a win.

After the end of regulation play, I was thinking it was over, we're done. Glad the team had more heart than I did.

Jack was something else doing a game on the radio. I often think about something he used to say about there being no difference between playing great and winning or playing badly and still winning. He said "when it's over, they don't ask how, just how many").
