So, CUSA assigns a ref to this game who we've historically had issues with. Not saying that there's a conspiracy here, but there's a conspiracy here.

I thought the cusa tourny winner got in. so if memphis loses & we beat tulsa arnt we in?

Tourney champ. I think it's up to the conference, but it's always the tourney champ in practice.

Tourney winner gets auto-berth. Memphis will be in as an At-large even if they don't win the Tourney though.

If Memphis plays like they are suppose to. Then no one in CUSA will touch them. Usm played real good the first 2 times. Wat exactly do we expect this time. Usm should get in though.

Memphis is in whether they win or lose tonight or tomorrow. What we are talking about is Southern Miss's at-large chances. Win today and tomorrow, and Southern Miss is the auto-bid and doesn't need to worry about the at-large.

The basic scenario for our at-large chances is a close loss to Memphis tomorrow morning. Anything else, and we are not going to make it as an at-large. We also need some other things to happen. La Salle losing to Butler today helps us. We need Missouri to beat Ole Miss today. We can't afford for Ole Miss to beat a Missouri team that's a tournament lock, and then have a shot at Kentucky tomorrow. Alabama's win over Tennessee is largely irrelevant because Alabama is a bubble team themselves, but a win tomorrow against Florida would practically guarantee that Alabama makes the tournament and further hurts our chances. Boise's early exit in the Mountain West tournament gives us a shot to pass them, too. Virginia's blowout loss to NC State helps as well.

Basically, if the favorites win in the SEC, we will have everything we need to happen at this point happen. We just need to make Memphis work really hard tomorrow.

We also need to avoid upsets in other conference tournaments. These scenarios would be disasters for us:

1. Florida State or Maryland win the ACC tournament.
2. UMass or St. Joseph's wins the A-10 tournament.
3. Iowa or Nebraska wins the B1G tournament.
4. Utah wins the Pac-12 tournament.

Probably none of those teams makes it as an at-large, but they will have to beat teams that would make it as an at-large even with a loss to get to the auto-bid.
