I love the fact that
Garrick McGee following the game and cheering along on Twitter

@GarrickMcGee: Time for some Blazer Magic. 29 sec to play.

@GarrickMcGee: Swing!!!

@GarrickMcGee: Someone tell DC that we only needed one basket

You see a lot of congratulations after a win between coaches, but you rarely see one acting like a fan on twitter. That's pretty cool.

He's come a long way since saying that pair of four letter words last January.

RE: I love the fact that
He said at one of the coach's shows last year that he's more of a basketball fan.

He even remembers Haase playing at Kansas while he was a football player at Oklahoma.

It's awesome to see that kind of support between coaches. Heck even here at work yesterday afternoon you could here our Football staff cheering on the Women's Basketball team during the conference championship game. I'm really excited about both the coaches UAB has hired. I don't think we could have realistically found better coaches for either sports. Both are young, hungry up and coming guys. Beat Southern!
