I am unhappy that 5 years after he was signed, we are here.
I am unhappy that we got the fabled facilities build, and we are here.
I am unhappy that we have a contract that extends to 2017 without results.

I don't know who is responsible for this mess, be it RG, Braun or someone else. Whoever it is, should be relieved of their job

Yeah got it, you're mad and you want to blame somebody regardless of consequences. You probably would have called for the firing of the Marshall head coach after the plane crash.

Well, you better pony up the cash to pay off the contract of whoever it is you want to get rid of. Otherwise, good luck with that.

I am going to restrain myself from getting in the extension argument again because we've had it over and over again and it doesn't get anywhere.

Because there is no argument - decision was made, it panned out poorly. Done.

Hindsight is 20/20.

At the time, it made sense. That is the opinion that you and I dispute.

Not a good comment... Marshall's head coach Rick Tolley died in the crash.

Jack Lengyel was hired to rebuild the team after the crash.

This comment is so ridiculous, it doesn't warrant a real response.

RE: C-USA Tourney vs. UH
Kudos to Tamir and the rest of the team for sticking it out and playing through a tough, tough season.

I would hope that now that the basketball season is over, a thorough review of the program, and specifically, the reason for the mass transfers, is undertaken and measures be enacted to ensure that something like that never happen again (to the extent that the reason is controllable and able to be mitigated). We will probably never know the true reason for the transfers, at least not in any official capacity. The only caveat to that is if Oregon goes on an extended NCAA Tourney run, fuled by Kazemi, the inevitable feature piece on him, and the circumstances leading to his transfer from Rice to Oregon will be all over tv. I couldn't imagine an ESPN or CBS feature piece on Kazemi not going into the reasons why he would transfer.

Just wanted to say I watched the Rice-Houston game last night & Rice played a great second half. Your team was in to it, the whole bench would jump to their feet on every shot you guys made. The locals here started pulling for you guys as the game went on. I thought you were going to win the game, but Houston made the plays they had to in the last couple minutes to win it.

Tulsa fans can relate to Rice this season. We lost a couple of our best players to Missouri & Vanderbilt. We lost our 2 best big men to career ending medical issues & had more in season injuries than I can remember a team having. Both Tulsa & Rice had to play with the short hands they were dealt this season.

I know Braun isn't thought of that well by some, but it was encouraging to see a team play that hard & root for each other that much at the end of a very disappointing year. That team had not quit on their coach or each other. Good luck next year, it has to be better for both of us !

Thanks for the kind words; despite the large talent gap between us and almost any team we played this season, the team was fun to watch because they never gave up on a game.
