The College of Charleston STILL hasn't been to the NCAA Tournament since 1999. They have to be one of the most overrated programs in the history of the NCAA.

They were the darling team of the SoCon when they came in and seemed to hold that distinction. Then the CAA came courting and won them over. There's some sort of mystique surrounding them. I enjoyed seeing Davidson hand it to them on their exit.

The "Saviors of the Socon" could only win the Socon once, while they had a lot of regular season success they simply could never get it done in the tournament. I've also always wondered why they were the "darlings" because honestly the best thing they ever did was get an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament while in the A-sun and that was way back in 1994.

Maybe they can be the Saviors of the CAA now.
