What was the earth shattering news you had feelers out to contacts on this past week? Was that just a joke response to the thread started by another Marshall fan? Did your rumor fall apart? What?

Hey sorry I didnt reply until now, I was scrolling through and saw this.

Anyway....

I was trying to be sarcastic by saying I knew something and listing all the contacts I was waiting to hear back from. Bad time to be failing at being "funny" I guess.

If I ever get good info I usually pass it on right away, unless Im sworn to keep my mouth shut and then I dont say anything at all. Im not one to sit on good info nor will I claim I know something and beat around the bush. Like when my Uncle told me about the Big 10 making a play for UNC and UVA. He has lots of friends in high Big 10 places and usually if he tells me something its solid and I pass it on. This time I was just trying to play up the thread. I was actually going to go back and mess around some more on there but forgot about it.

Apologies and lesson learned.
